Kayla is getting more and more toothless. 

This is an updated view of the garage. They finished the roof, started the siding, and framed in the windows and doors. Notice the guy on the top of the roof? He's scared!

He makes a very cute Batman doesn't he? He has the habit of making capes out of everything in the house, so we figured this might make a good gift. Well, this and a metal John Deere model 60 tractor. 

The next few pics are of the kids at the neighbors birthday party a couple Saturdays ago. The theme was western...just in case you didn't get that. You'll notice all of the kids are in the act of shooting or reloading... I couldn't be more proud! Sniff. 

Well, she's no Kissin' Kate Barlow, but she had me scared for a few nannoseconds.

This is the view of the front of the garage as of a few days ago. Progress is going nicely now. 

This is the view from the backside of the garage. They began roofing today. 

On Wed. they started doing the framing. I love this part! You can kind of see the plan for windows and doors. I know we have been heavy on the garage pictures, but I am a little fixated right now. We are having a birthday party for Ian today, so we will probably have numerous pictures of the kids to put on in a few days.  

We decided to go with just two garage doors on front. An 18 footer, and a nine footer. 

Wed. and Thurs. the crew made good progress on the garage. In this pictrue they are preparing to put the trusses on.  

On Fri. they put the trusses on the garage. Here the first one is going up. The garage will not have a flat roof. The stack of things to the right of the guy in red is the pile of small triangular trusses that will go on top of the ones that had to be lifted by the crane. 

Here they are getting toward the end of putting up the large trusses.
