Kayla and Jenna played soccer this year for the YMCA. They both had fun, but for different reasons. Kayla played well, and Jenna made friends. At one point the coach had to remind Jenna that the object of soccer was not to walk around the field holding hands and talking. I must admit though that after all Jenna has been through eith her feet, I really struggled to hold back tears the first time she was running around the field kicking the ball. God is good, and I will be happy to take umbrage with anyone who disagrees. Posted by Hello

Kayla at practice. She did quite well this year. She took to soccer more than baseball because there is a lot more action, and she gets to kick people. It helps that she is athletic, fast, and aggressive. It was not uncommon to see her charge into a pile of people pushing and elbowing until she came away with the ball. She plays sports like her mother. Posted by Hello

Jenna makes a move on the ball... actually, this is just practice, you can tell because there is no "swarm" of kids around the ball. During the whole season we only saw the ball twice, the rest of the time it was just a pile of kicking kids moving slowly up and down the field. We think the ball was somewhere in the middle of them. Posted by Hello

We went to NASCAR speed park when we had Kevin and Shelly in town. The kids also got in on the action. Jenna is whistling as she takes a leisurly stroll around the track. Posted by Hello

Ian got into the action on a harley even though he was not tall enough to drive. No smart comments about my height here. Posted by Hello
